Joined Our 2017 Teaching Style: Positive, Fun, Instructive Brynne, a lifelong swimmer who loves working with kids, was drawn to Waterbabies because the curriculum is starkly different from how she learned to swim, which she found intriguing. her hometown of Hobart, Brynne is surrounded by animals, but she has a special place her heart for her cow, Cookie. When she isn't swimming, Brynne can be found on mountain trails, biking or running with her dogs. Joined Our 2016 Teaching Style: Fun, Silly learned to swim from her grandfather on the island of Kauai, and she's been hooked ever since! She finds teaching to be one of life's most rewarding experiences, and while she has taught swimming through other programs, she especially values the Waterbabies dedication to instilling children a true of the water. her leisure time, enjoys painting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs at their Renton home. When she is not the water, is either studying for her courses at Central Washington University, or staying active outdoors and spending time with her family. She currently lives with her family while she attends Bellevue College, pursuing her of snowboarding during the months. She has always enjoyed swimming and being the water, and she LOVES babies. When considering joining our teaching staff, decided that working for Waterbabies would be a perfect match with her drive to help others learn, and she is rewarded by seeing the progress her students make. Joined Our November 2017 Teaching Style: Engaging, Committed, Lively a record-setting swimmer and a student of Early Childhood and Family Studies at the University of Washington, was drawn to teach at Waterbabies because it combines her favorite pastime with her current passion. She has hundreds of hours of experience working with preschool-aged children, ranging from after-school enrichment programs to coaching youth sports, and she is dedicated to helping her students be confident and safe the water. When she isn't the water, is hitting the books and investing her career as early childhood educator. Recently married, she returned to Seattle to be closer to family. She was drawn to the Waterbabies mission of developing the whole child through aquatic education and working a woman-owned business, not to mention that she loves children and loves teaching them to swim. is a personal trainer and expert community health and nutrition, and she will be bringing her expertise to Waterbabies through water and land exercise classes at our new pool location Renton. Currently a student at Kentwood High School, joined the Waterbabies team because she loves working with kids and she loves the water!
