After he retired, she agreed to help Southwestern Medical Clinic open up office Harbor, and managed the clinic for 15 years until she retired 1993. was a charter member of the Berrien County Medical Assistants Association as well as the Harbor Emblem Club. She was a member of Hadassah and Bnai Brith. For over 30 years she was active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, holding offices on the Flotilla and Division level. She was a dedicated member of the Board of Directors of the Lakeland Clinic at Center for years, as well as being a volunteer at Lakeland Medical Centers, both at Harbor and Memorial St. She also served on several committees dedicated to assisting the City of Harbor. She loved to cruise up north with her husband on their boat, through the straits and on up to Canada. She also loved to collect antiques. She was a dedicated member of B'nai Shalom, Harbor. She is whom she married on July 11, Harbor. She is also survived by her children, Hubbard of Round Lake Beach, Ill., Buchbinder of Harbor, Annette Rupp of Fort Smith, Ark., Stevan Abrams, Victoria Abrams of Guthrie, Okla., and Thereasa E. Abrams of Carbondale, Ill.; as well as by five grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, B. Zaban of Harbor. She was preceded death by her parents, and Zaban; a brother, M. Zaban; and her sisters, M. Zidman and E. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
